Mammoth Lakes Open Air Arts & Crafts Fair Meet premier Western artisans against the majestic backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Mammoth Lakes, Calif. — The 52nd annual Mammoth Lakes Open Air Arts & Crafts Fair returns from July 24–26, 2026, transforming the Kittredge Sports grounds into a vibrant, free community showcase of artisan talent. The event features premier Western artists alongside Eastern Sierra creators, set against the Sierra Nevada, with live performances by local favorites Sandy and the High Country. This year’s featured artists include: Ehi Obinyan (Painting) is an energetic and free-spirited artist who has developed mastery for the combined use of watercolor and gouache medium he calls “WaterCombo.” He is a product of the Art School of Painting & General Arts at the famous Federal Polytechnic college in Nigeria where he graduated with distinctions. Saddled with an infectious enthusiasm for life, Ehi is eclectic in his chosen theme and distinct in style. Passion and zeal rule his brushes as he works with gouache, acrylic and oil medium.
