BOOK CLUB
We are so excited to announce the launch of our new book club: Eastern Sierra Pride QueeReaders. (Thanks to our new Book Club Committee!)
Our first book club selection is Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe.
Started as a way to explain to eir family what it means to be nonbinary and asexual, Gender Queer is more than a personal story: it is a useful and touching guide on gender identity—what it means and how to think about it—for advocates, friends, and humans everywhere.
Join us as we discuss Gender Queer: Wednesday, Dec. 14th at 6pm Spellbinder Books, Bishop
Eastern Sierra Pride QueeReaders will meet monthly alternating between Inyo and Mono County locations. Please consider purchasing your book through one of our local Indie bookstores – Spellbinder Books in Bishop or Booky Joint in Mammoth – or support our public libraries in Inyo and Mono County.
To attend via Zoom, please contact [email protected].
