Eastern Sierra Pride Announces its New Book Club Eastern Sierra Pride QueeReaders

Eastern Sierra Pride is very excited to announce the launch of their new book club, Eastern Sierra Pride QueeReaders. Their first book club selection is Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe and the first book club meeting with be held at Spellbinder Books in Bishop, on December 14th, at 6:00pm.

Oni Press, the book’s publisher, describes Gender Queer as, “started as a way to explain to their family what it means to be nonbinary and asexual, Gender Queer is more than a personal story: it is a useful and touching guide on gender identity—what it means and how to think about it—for advocates, friends, and humans everywhere.”

Eastern Sierra Pride QueeReaders will meet monthly alternating between Inyo and Mono County locations, and will always have the virtual option to join via Zoom.
