Augustus & Ruth Goetz adapted the classic 1880 Novel Washington Square by Henry James into a play. Then the timeless film premiered in 1949 starring Olivia de Havilland and Montgomery Clift, winning 4 Oscars. Revived 2 times on Broadway with the Tony award-winning actress Cherry Jones in 1995 and again in 2012 with Jessica Chastain. A story of love, loss, joy, pain, hope – not to be missed.
