Cal Trans Offers Free Dump Day!
CalTrans Hosting a Free Dump Day
On Saturday, September 11 from 9am-1pm, CalTrans will be hosting a free dump day to collect trash and other unwanted materials. If you want to get rid of some unwanted junk and live in Inyo County, CalTrans will have a collection station located at US 6 North of Wye Rd. in Bishop. If you live in Mono County head over to Smokey Bear Flat on US 395.
These dump locations will NOT accept hazardous trash, chemicals, anything with asbestos, lead-based paints, or construction debris.
