Bishop Sunrise Rotary Hosts BUSD School Board Candidate Forum

The Bishop Sunrise Rotary Club is sponsoring a free public candidate forum for the Bishop Unified School District School Board race to be held on Thursday, October 6 at 6:00 PM at the Cerro Coso Community College, Bishop Campus. All nine candidates have been invited to be present and speak at the event. Kristina Blum Justice will be the moderator for the evening.

The Bishop Sunrise Rotary Club is hosting this forum to encourage active civic engagement, which is a cornerstone of our representative form of government. All are encouraged to attend this forum and learn more about these candidates, their goals for our school district, and their positions on the important issues affecting our youth.

For this forum, all candidates have been provided advance questions that they will answer during the first half of the program. After a brief intermission, the candidates will respond to questions generated by the audience. Light refreshments will be available. The Bishop Campus of the Cerro Coso Community College is located at 4090 W. Line Street.
