Fire on Home and Sierra in Bishop Quickly Knocked Down

From the Bishop Police Department:

At 5:33 this morning Bishop PD received a call of a brush fire on the corner of home st and Sierra st. Bishop Fire, Cal-fire, Bishop PD and Inyo Sheriff responded. The fire was quickly knocked down and contained to the ornamental vegetation on the north side of the Catholic Church. The fire is still under investigation. Please do not add to the morning school traffic back-up by taking photos or rubber necking.
