Bishop Broncos Varsity Softball Takes Two Wins, Two Losses at Mira Monte Softball Tournament
Bishop varsity traveled to the Mira Monte softball tournament in Bakersfield Friday 3/15, and Saturday 3/16. Coming home with 2 wins and 2 losses. Capping a 6 game week of softball.
First game was Friday at 5pm vs Ridgeview. Bishop lost 8 to 0. Baileigh Momberg threw all 5 innings facing 21 batters. Giving up 4 hits, 5 strikeouts and 3 walks. 3 earned runs.
Offensively,
Katya Fierro was 1 for 3, with 1 stolen base
Sienna Fuller was 1 for 3
Cam Lanphear was 1 for 2
Game #2 Bishop faced Foothill. Came away with a 10 to 1 victory.

Coach Manuelito is very pleased with the way the young team has been playing. Playing solid defense, making good contact while batting and being aggressive on the bases. Looking forward to begin league play on Tuesday at Kern Valley.
