On January 25 the Bishop Lady Broncos traveled to play the Desert Scorpions in their final matchup of the season. At the end of the first half the score was 6-0. In the second half Bishop came out and scored an additional three goals.
The game ended with the final score 9 to 0 in favor of the Bishop Lady Broncos. Ellie Crall lead the team with 3 goals and 2 assists. Kylie Acree, Jillian Veenker, Alyssa Buchholz, Brooklyn Braaten, Katya Fierro, and Riley Van Nest each scored one goal during the game.
Alyssa Buchholz had 2 assists while Sydney Norcross, Brooklyn Braaten, Katya Fierro, and Madyn Weller each had one assist.
Bishop Broncos want to thank the desert scorpions for their great sportsmanship and wish him the best of luck in the remainder of the season.
The Bishop Broncos’ next game will be Monday, January 29 at home on the John Schwab field starting at 3 o’clock. This will be the last home game of the season during regular play. Please come out and support the team and it’s seniors’ final game at senior night.
