Bishop Broncos Varsity Girls Soccer Continues Streak with 9-0 Win Against Mojave

Bishop Union High School girls varsity soccer team moves to 5-0 in league play and 6-0 for the season after a 9 to 0 victory over the Mojave mustangs on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

Eight different players scored against the Mustangs lead by Julian Veenker with two goals and two assist. One of her goals was a header. Ellie Crall, KYlie Acree, Sydney Norcross, Alyssa Buchholz (header goal), Brooklyn Braaten, Katya Fierro, and Morgan Boothe all scored one goal.

Jaden Davis and Jillian Veenker each had two assists, Brooklyn Braaten had three assists, and Claire Vetter and Alyssa Buchholz each had one assist.

This season to Bishop Lady Broncos have scored 53 goals and have only allowed one goal against. 16 of the teams 18 players have scored this season.

Three of the six teams played, the Lady Broncos’ defense has not allowed a single shot on goal.

Coach Bill Dailey is excited to see where the team goes from here. The Bishop Broncos will take on the Kern Valley Broncs at home today, Friday, December 15, 2023 at 3:00 and the boys play at 5:00. Come out to support your Bishop Broncos for their last home game of 2023.
