Bishop Broncos JV Softball Win Against Rosamond 20-6
The Bronco girls JV softball team won their league game on Thursday, May 4 against Rosamond by a score of 20-6.
Jillian Wolfe pitched 4 innings, striking out 8, and giving up 1 hit.
Once again there were many Bronco standouts in this game including Cadence Nott (1-2, scored 2 runs, 2 walks), Sophie Dishion (1-1, 3 walks, scored 4 runs), Jillian Wolfe (2-3, scored 3 runs, 2 RBI’s), Ellary Davis (2-3, scored 3 runs, 1 walk), Taylor Currie (3-3, scored 1 run, and 5 RBI’s). Other Broncos of note were Lizette Romero (1-3, scored 2 runs, 1 walk), Serenity Limon (1-2, scored 2 runs, 2 walks), Riley Phillips (2-3, 4 RBI’s).
The game was controlled by pitching, but the team was also sparked by a great play in left field by Riley Phillips.
