Bishop Broncos Grabs Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Rosamond
- Bishop Broncos stole the lead late in the game in a 9-6 victory over Rosamond on Thursday. The game was tied at four with Bishop Broncos batting in the top of the seventh when Bodie Garcia singled on a 1-2 count, allowing his pinch runner Noah Cathey to score one run.
- Caleb Gillem led Bishop Broncos to victory by driving in five runs. The Broncos loaded the bases when Rosamond intentionally walked Omohundro. Gillem followed that up with a grand slam. Gillem went 2-for-3 at the plate. Gillem drove in runs on a sacrifice fly in the sixth and a grand slam in the seventh.
