BUHS girls tennis traveled to Edwards Air Force Base on Thursday to play the Desert Scorpions . Score Bishop 6 Desert 3.
The doubles teams played first. Azul Aranzubia and Lila Santana won the only point in doubles 6-1 6-4. Sofie Ablanedo and Xochitl Lopez played the #1s . They lost 4-6 2-6. Tatum Swanson and Leah Morrison also lost 3-6 3-6
The singles earned 5 points winning 3 tie-breaks. Xitlaly Solorio won her first set 7-5 tied her second set 6-6 and then won her tie-break 7-1. Avery Mcgraw won straight sets 6-1 6-0. Siena Pope scores were 3-6 7-5 then had to play a 10 point tie-break which she won 10-5. Amelia Winter won easily 6-2 6-2. Lola Mullner won 6-3 tied 6 -6 then won her 7 point tie-break 7-5. Kinlei Romero lost straight sets 2-6 3-6.
Next the Broncos play Rosamond at home on Tuesday.
