Pack Fire Fund Update

Thank you to this generous community for showing up in a big way. Through the Mammoth Community Foundation (MCF)—the Chamber’s nonprofit arm—the Pack Fire Relief Fund has raised over $200,000 in financial donations, in addition to more than $11,000 in donated gift cards, all supporting households impacted by the Pack Fire. This includes a $10,000 contribution from MCF directly, $10,000 from Ormat, and a $50,000 matching contribution from Mammoth Mountain, after the community successfully met the match through a joint fundraising campaign.
A big thank you to the Mono County Office of Education for coordinating the gift card collection, and to the Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation (MMCF) for their continued work helping impacted individuals and families navigate housing needs.
Last week, MCF delivered the first round of checks and gift cards to the affected households. The gratitude shared was deeply felt. The Pack Fire Fund remains open through December 31, with a second round of distributions planned for late January. >>> Click here to donate

A Full “House” of Women
Last Thursday’s sold-out Women in Business mixer at Limelight brought together over 50 women from across our community for an awesome evening of conversation and connection. From small business owners to nonprofit leaders and community builders, the “Living Room” Lobby was full of women who show up, pitch in, and help keep Mammoth Lakes moving. (NB. there were a few men in attendance as well.)

Get in Early for 2026
Check out the Chamber’s 2026 sponsorship opportunities. Sponsoring a Chamber event puts your business in front of the community and shows clear support for our town. 2026 will be a milestone year, with the 4th of July Parade marking the nation’s 250th anniversary and the Business Excellence Awards Gala celebrating its 10th year. Availability is limited, so now’s the time to review the deck and reach out to us to lock in your sponsorship—some of them have already been snapped up. >>> Click here for the Sponsor Deck. >>> Click here to get in touch with us

A Holiday Hello
You may have spotted a new Happy Holidays banner at the Footloose corner last week. Designed and installed by the Chamber, the message—“Thank you for choosing Mammoth Lakes”—was intentional. It’s a simple thank-you to everyone who lives, works, runs a business, and spends time here, as well as those visiting during the holidays. A small way to show appreciation for the businesses and people who help make this town what it is, year after year. Happy Holidays from your Chamber team.

An Easy Marketing Win
Looking for a simple way to get a little extra visibility in the new year? Mammoth Lakes Tourism is launching a new monthly promotion series starting in January, featuring local businesses through creative, seasonal themes. Each business is highlighted during a specific month across Visit Mammoth’s website, social channels, and newsletters. Participating businesses get to use the photos and content for their own marketing. A number of businesses have already submitted their interest, and spots are filling up. Not a lot of effort, and a nice bit of added exposure. Take a look at the upcoming themes, see where your business fits and submit your interest. >>> Click here for more info
