Bishop Bronco Baseball Demonstrate Sportsmanship in 10-0 Loss to Burroughs

Bishop lost its season opener against Burroughs 10-0 in 5 innings. On the hill for the Broncos Freshman Knox Moffet went 3 innings had 4 earned runs(ER) on 4 hits(H) walked (BB) 4 ,1 strikeout (K). Junior Elliot Douda ended the game going 2 innings allowed 3 ER on 5 Hits 2 BBs. Collectively the broncos defense was solid just a few well placed base hits.

Offensively the Broncos got No Hit with Burroughs only allowing 2 base runners on 1BB by Richie Talavera and a catcher interference call for Aiden Frechette.

I’m impressed with the way we held ourselves through out the game the maturity level and attitudes of our players in a difficult game showed a lot of class.
