A Message from Mammoth Mountain Ski Area
Extremely high winds, heavy snowfall and unsafe road conditions exist. Operations mountain-wide have been suspended for the day.
Dump Alert! We picked up another 27” of new snow to bring our current storm total to a solid 40-48 inches.
Snow Immersion Suffocation (SIS) danger is always a possibility on deep days like today – ski and ride with a buddy and keep your buddy in sight at all times. Closures and weather holds are in place for everyone’s safety. Do not jeopardize your safety, the safety of our employees, and the safety of our guests by cutting closures – at a minimum, you will lose your pass.
Please be aware of all snow removal equipment during storm cycle. If you arrive to the resort early in the morning, be prepared to move your vehicle to accommodate extensive snow removal.
Please stay safe out there and let it snow!
