Inyo/Mono Highways Experiencing Heavy Rains, State Route 167 Closed for Flooding
MONO COUNTY– Nevada Department of Transportation and NHP reported to CHP and Caltrans around 4:30 this afternoon that Nevada State Route 359, which becomes California State Route 167 at the California/Nevada border, is flooding. Caltrans and CHP closed SR 167 at the junction with US 395 for emergency work. It is too early in this event to anticipate a time to reopen.
