Courthouse Door Restoration Project to Begin Soon
The Independence Courthouse Front Door Restoration Project is slated to begin Monday, October 19, at which time access through the front entrance will become temporarily unavailable.
Because the historic front doors will be removed during the project, the public is asked to use the north, south, and east entrances to the building. The project is expected to last approximately 3-8 weeks.
Inyo County appreciates the public’s patience, understanding, and cooperation as staff works to restore and preserve the beautiful front doors of the historic Inyo County Courthouse. The County is excited to see this project come to life.
