Bishop Chamber of Commerce to Host City Council Candidate Forum

The Bishop Chamber of Commerce will host a public forum featuring all four candidates for Bishop City Council ahead of the November election. Incumbents Stephen Muchovej and Karen Schwartz will face challengers Tyler Beadle and Aaron Schat. All four candidates will participate in the forum.

The event will take place Thursday, October 1, at the Tallman Pavilion at the Tri-County Fairgrounds in Bishop. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with the forum beginning promptly at 5:30 p.m.

The forum will be moderated by Allan Pietrasanta, who will present a series of predetermined questions covering a range of issues relevant to the Bishop community. Audience members will also have an opportunity to submit written questions during the event.

The candidate forum is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.

Bishop City Council members play an important role in shaping the future of the community. The forum will provide residents with an opportunity to hear directly from each candidate and learn more about their perspectives on issues facing Bishop ahead of the November election.
