“The Secret Lives of Black Bears”

Join Sierra Forever naturalists for a look at the Sierra’s most iconic, and misunderstood, resident – the black bear.  Learn about their fascinating lives and how we can safely share the landscape with them.

Campfire programs begin at 6:30 pm, and are free and open to the surrounding community.  You don’t have to be staying at the campground.

Campground programs are offered as a part of the interpretive agreement Sierra Forever has with the Inyo National Forest. Sierra Forever receives financial support for these programs from Westrec, the Robinson Creek campground concessionaire.

  • Programs are outside and subject to cancellation without warning.
  • An adult must accompany children on all programs.
  • Dress for changing weather.
