Description of Work: Road reconstruction and armoring, guardrail improvements, drainage improvements, slope scaling

Work in Progress: 

Embankment: 

• Foundation grade prep work complete
• Construction of embankment ongoing
• Borrow haul began the week of August 20th and will continue thru the week of August 26th
• Embankment work approximately 45 % complete

Riprap: 

• Embankment Protection Station 655+50 Lt to Station 658+50 Lt complete

Removals of Structures and Obstructions:  

• Removal of existing asphalt complete
• Existing pipe at Station 668+64 has been removed and backfilled.

Traffic Control: 

• Message Boards and Signs in place along designated detour route. SB Message Board on US 395 was repaired by end of shift on 08/22/24.

Work Schedule: 

• Monday thru Friday and Saturdays as needed Shift hours 0600 – 1600
• Labor Day Weekend: No work 08/30/24 thru 09/03/24
