As of 9:50 P.M. on September 14th, 2021, the major news sources including the Associated Press have called the Gubernatorial Recall Election for Gavin Newsom.
According to the New York Times, as of 11:30 A.M. on September 15th, 2021, 9,137,428 votes have been counted. 63.9% voted no on the recall, and 36.1% voted yes on the recall. Though only 70% of California’s votes are reported in these statistics, it is unlikely that the remaining uncounted votes will sway the election enough for Newsom to be recalled.
