Undersheriff Eric Pritchard Appointed Inyo County Sheriff by Supervisors
Four candidates put their hat in the ring for Inyo County interim sheriff today, including Eric Pritchard, Stephanie Rennie, and Kelvin Johnston.
Public comment and deliberation moved between “two fantastic candidates”, Pritchard and Rennie. The Inyo County Supervisors at a special meeting today decided to appoint Undersheriff Eric Pritchard as Interim Inyo County Sheriff.
It was moved, seconded, and passed 5-0.
Actual elections for Inyo County Sheriff will be in June, with a runoff in November if necessary.
