Tri-County Fair has created a second parking entrance for faster parking

For Immediate Release

Tri County Fair has created a second parking entrance for faster parking in 2024

Bishop, CA – The Tri County Fair is an Iconic and long standing tradition in the greater Owens Valley every Labor Day weekend.  In 2024, all visitors will experience a new parking gate that will ease long lines to enter the fairgrounds parking lots.  The new parking entry gate will be on the North side of the fairgrounds at the Bishop Veterinary Hospital located at 1440 N Main St., Bishop Ca 93514.

“The new parking entry gate will better serve fair goers driving southbound on 395.  Fair goers driving north bound on 395 will continue to use  Sierra St entrance.”  says Fair Interim CEO Mike Francesconi.

General parking prices will not increase in 2024, they will remain $5.00.  The newly created VIP parking lot will serve those guests wanting to park right up front for $10.00.

This year, fairgoers are also encouraged to help maintain the safety of this great event by reporting any suspicious activity they observe via text or call to a phone number posted throughout the fairgrounds.

We have worked closely with Interim CEO Mike Francesconi to create a new traffic and parking plan that we feel will better serve our guests in 2024.  Mike has been instrumental in this process working with Cal Trans, He truly cares about the guests and area business partners”  said Joe Ganino, President at Blackhawk Protection Inc.

Fair goers with children are encouraged this year to take a photo at our new fair photo display located at the front gate. This will insure parents have a current photo in the event children are separated from their parents while at the fair.
