Traffic Impacts Expected Near County Office Building 

County employees and visitors to the Consolidated Office Building in Bishop can expect traffic impacts starting today as  Caltrans begins work on the roundabout project at the intersection of Wye Road and U.S. Highway 6.

According to Caltrans, crews will be doing striping and electrical work today through Wednesday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be  one-way traffic control with a flagger, and drivers may experience delays of up to 5 minutes. After Wednesday, crews will  transition to overnight work – although there may be intermittent daytime work as needed. The project is expected to last two  weeks.
