Caltrans has opened State Route 203 at Mammoth Mountain Inn from its winter closure. Travelers will now be able to access the Minaret Vista Point just west of the ski lodge and the various hiking trails that connect to it. The reopening of SR 203, which is the final highway in Mono County to reopen from winter closure, came in advance of the reopening of Reds Meadow Road. That road is scheduled to open tomorrow, June 17, along with Rainbow Falls, Devils Postpile National Monument, and Reds Meadow Resort.

Access to Reds Meadow Road is available using the Reds Meadow Shuttle Service provided by Eastern Sierra Transit Authority. For more information on the bus service, visit Reds Meadow Shuttle – Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (estransit.com).
