As part of our ongoing series, we are interviewing people of interest in the area who are having a positive impact on our community.

This time, we talked with Aden from Donnie’s Detailing mobile car detailing.

What detailing packages do you offer, and what is included in each package?

I have 2 packages, and these are the starting rates for my washes.

1. The first package is the basic wash, which is an exterior full cleaning, with interior cleaning as well which comes with everything vacuumed down, windows cleaned, center console, and more for only $60.
2. My second package comes with everything in the first package, but it also comes with shampoo carpets and seats for $75.

Can you describe the steps you take during a full exterior detail?

The steps I take during an exterior wash are these:

I start with a foam spray wash to loosen the particles and little dirt stuck onto the vehicle.

Let that sit and proceed to clean tires and rims.

Rinse your vehicle off and start the process of the wash.

Dry the vehicle.

What types of products and tools do you use for detailing? Are they safe for all vehicle surfaces?

The products I use are from Auto Supply Detailing, and I’ve used these products for most of the vehicles I have detailed. I purchase locally from Ace or from Amazon. They’re very vehicle friendly products.

I also change my tools often to avoid any breaking down or in-a-pinch replacement.

How long does it typically take you to detail a vehicle?

It takes me typically 2-3 hours for a full vehicle detail.
