Skyler Lee Waters was born in Bishop, California on February 5, 1986, to Greg and Becky Waters and unexpectedly moved to heaven on October 6, 2021. He was 35. Skyler grew up in a loving family and had a very happy childhood in Bishop; where he made lifelong friends golfing, snowboarding, fishing, playing roller hockey, riding bikes all over town, barbecues and get-togethers. He especially loved his time with his Boppy fishing, golfing and the wonderful talks they had, sneaking Oreo’s and milk with his Grandma late at night and learning his construction trade from his Dad.

He enjoyed the times when his aunt, uncles and cousins would visit doing what they all loved the most. Then after a long day of fun, he loved the dinners with the entire family and hours spent
playing games and enjoying his Grandma’s famous desserts. Skyler had a big, tender heart, was a loyal and faithful son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He was an avid outdoorsman, trout and fly fisherman and hunter. He loved people and was always there to love and help anyone who was in need!

Skyler was loved and adored by his family and many friends. He will be greatly missed and forever treasured in our hearts! We have the assurance knowing he is in Heaven with his Boppy!

Skyler was preceded to heaven by his beloved Grandfather ( Boppy), Al Holliman of Bishop, California, His Grandfather, Cliff Waters of Palm Springs, California, Grandmother, Joanne Waters, and his Uncle, Terry Waters of Mammoth Lakes, California. He is survived by his loving parents, Greg and Becky Waters of Bishop, California, his Grandmother, Beverly Holliman of Oceanside, California, his Uncle Al Holliman Jr. of Palm Springs, California, his Aunt Lisa Holliman-Szabo and Uncle Wayne Szabo of Oceanside, California, his Aunt Shari (Waters) Jones and Uncle Rob Jones of Hickory, North Carolina, cousins Austin Holliman and his wife Johanna, Alannah (Holliman) Figueroa and her husband Mauricio, Aaron Holliman, Ashlee and Mekenna Szabo, Ryan Neely and wife Amber and Kevin Neely; second cousins, Reef and Isla Holliman, Aeverie and Asher Gillen, Autrey Gignac, Caden and Gavin Neely.
