A loving send-up of the 1950s, small-town America, teenagers, and rock & roll, Bye Bye Birdie will transport audiences to a simpler time when people laughed at jokes and now you can too! Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie (played by Evan Standifer) has been drafted, so he chooses All-American girl Kim MacAfee (played by Marion Beadle) for a very public farewell kiss. And when the most famous pop singer in the world comes to the small town of Sweet Apple Ohio… Both adults and teens’ worlds are rocked and hilarious conflict ensues. Show dates are March 15th, 16th, 17th and March 22nd and 23rd, all in The Dorothy Joseph Auditorium at Bishop Union High School. Performances will be at 7pm on Fridays, 2pm and 7pm on Saturdays, and 5pm on Sunday March 17th. Doors will open a half hour prior to all show times.
