Opening Celebration of the Mammoth Lakes Community Recreation Center This Friday
The Community is invited to the Opening Celebration of the Community Recreation Center (CRC) on “ICE” Friday, November 24, 2023.
Beginning at 3:00pm, join us for the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and opening celebrations, including special appearances by Woolly and Bucky, hot chocolate, snacks and give-a-ways from our sponsors with The Rolling Chef 395 on site for food and beverage purchase.
From 4:00 – 9:30pm, enjoy complimentary ice skating at the new LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes – free admissions, rentals and skate aids subject to availability.
Skate session times: 4:00 – 5:30pm, 6:00 – 7:30pm and 8:00 – 9:30pm.
For more than 20 years, the Town of Mammoth Lakes has been actively searching for a permanent home for an indoor ice rink and multi-use facility – one that would enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors with year-round access to high-quality and innovative indoor recreational programs and activities. After breaking ground on April 21, 2021, the Town is ready to unveil phase one of this new year-round recreation facility to the community.
