Mono Basin Visitor Center Has New Hours
BISHOP, CA August 10, 2021 —The Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the remainder of this year. The Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center will be open Thursday-Sunday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. At this time, masks are required in Mono County and within all federal facilities.
The Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association (ESIA), which operates the bookstore, will also provide services within these hours. Please plan any business at this visitor center accordingly.
The Visitor Center is located just north of Lee Vining, on highway 395, overlooking Mono Lake. Most campgrounds can be reserved by calling 877-444-6777, or visit www.reserveamerica.com
