We lost an incredible man on the morning of Saturday, August 5th, 2023. Mark Hendrickson was a big, beautiful soul, bursting with positivity and love. He was a fantastic husband, father, best friend, son, brother and uncle. His athletic ability was awe-inspiring – on skis, a road bike, mountain bike, on the ice rink, soccer pitch, or on belay, he always “got after it, in a major way.”

He made so many connections throughout his life, as he had a way of making you feel special. He loved to show friends and family around the mountain. He enjoyed coaching, mentoring, and teaching techniques and skills to beginners. He was supportive and kind and would do absolutely anything for the people he loved.

Mark lived a life full of joy and clarity with his wife, Casey, and his boys, Jess and Cash. This recent chapter in his life was the happiest he had been. His passion and dedication to his family is eternal. He was proud to support his family, doing what he loved. He spent every day of his life aspiring to be the best person he could be. And he was. He was the best.

We will miss his deep voice, bear hugs, and infectious laugh. He is a legend and means something special to every single person he interacted with. His legacy will live on through the stories and memories that we share with each other and with his family. It will live on through his beautiful boys.

Please consider donating to this fund to give Casey ease of mind when navigating this difficult time. Mark would never ask for help, but his heart would burst with the outpouring of love and support for his family.

There is a hole in the universe.

Hendo, Man. Hendo.

p.s. we love you
