Thanksgiving Events

– 7th annual Turkey Trot in the Trails hosted by the Mammoth Track Club, November 25 at 9am.

– Celebrate the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in The Village on Friday, November 26 with festivities starting at 5:30pm. Join Mayor Sauser at 6:30pm for the lighting of the Christmas Tree.

– Get your skate on Mammoth Lakes! Celebrate the opening of the Mammoth Ice Rink this Friday from 7-10pm with FREE skating and rentals (subject to availability).

– Spread the Joy of the Holiday Season – Not COVID! Do your Part: Get Vaccinated, Stay Home if You’re Sick and Get Tested Before and After Traveling for the Holidays or attending larger gatherings

Advanced Air Lands in Mammoth Lakes!

December 1st Town Council Meeting Agenda Items

– USFS Update from Leeann Murphy, Acting Mammoth District Ranger

– Staff presentations on design-build project delivery methodology and Phase 1 of the Parcel

– Appointment of Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem and Council appointments to various committees

– The Town Council will recognize the following employees: Grady Dutton, Public Works Director/Special Projects Manager on his retirement , Sierra Shultz on her promotion to Deputy Airport Manager and Stuart Brown, Parks and Recreation Director for 15 years of service

Mammoth Lakes Police Department Receives Tobacco Grant

We are pleased to announce that the Mammoth Lakes Police Department was selected to receive $344,273 in state funding from the California Department of Justice Tobacco Grant Program. For more information check our website at www.MammothLakesPD.org.

COVID-19 Testing Update

The OptumServe COVID-19 Testing site is now located in the Sierra Star Golf Course Club House, 2001 Sierra Star Pkwy. Testing is available: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 11am-7pm, with a lunch break from 3-4pm. The next vaccination clinic in Mammoth Lakes is scheduled for December 12th at St. Joseph Catholic Church between 2:30-5:00pm (COVID-19 vaccinations/boosters and Flu vaccination). Click here for additional information on vaccination clinics and testing.
