Regional Entities Launch Housing Needs Survey
The Town of Mammoth Lakes as part of the Collective Housing Committee (CHC) comprised of Inyo County, Mono County, the City of Bishop, and the Eastern Sierra Council of Governments (ESCOG) are working with consulting firm BAE Urban Economics to prepare the Eastern Sierra Housing Needs Study. The study will provide information about the nature and severity of housing needs in the region to help guide future investment. A pivotal component of this initiative is active community involvement. The purpose of the survey is to gather information about resident and workforce housing needs, as well as how the housing market is impacting labor availability and business development.
