Town Begins Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update
The Town of Mammoth Lakes has launched a comprehensive planning effort to update its Parks and Recreation Master Plan (PRMP). The PRMP will be a community-driven document grounded in best practices, emerging trends, and a commitment to excellence, sustainability, quality of life and serve as a recreation “roadmap” for the next 10 plus years. Your personal experiences, shared input and thoughtful feedback will assist in the development and implementation of future parks and recreation facilities and programming in Mammoth Lakes. Even if you are not a current park user, we want to hear from you! There will be many opportunities for the public to participate in the planning process over the next year, starting with a community survey. A statistically valid survey will be mailed to all households, including second homeowners, in Mammoth Lakes. If you receive a survey in the mail, please follow the instructions to complete the survey. For those who do not receive a survey in the mail, an online survey will be made available to the entire community in mid-November, 2025. Everyone who completes the brief survey will be entered into a drawing to win one of three $50 gift cards or one (1) Parks and Recreation Family Annual Membership valued at $600!
