Town of Mammoth Lakes Reopens Community Dog Park
With the unseasonably mild winter conditions and escalating demand for a designated winter off-leash dog area, the Parks and Recreation Department reopened the Community Dog Park (190 College Parkway). The parking lot is accessible; however, the restroom will remain closed, and no water is available for dogs on site so please be prepared and bring your own. The Town will provide complimentary dog waste bags, and all owners are required to collect and properly dispose of their dogs waste in the provided trash bins. The Town also asks that you remain with your dog at all times within the designated off-leash small or large dog area. The dog park will remain open while snow conditions and temperatures are favorable for staff to service the park and for access to the parking lot.
