Town Council Meeting Action Items for December 17, 2025

Town Council recognized Mammoth Lakes Tourism President & CEO John Urdi for his 15 years of service to the Town of Mammoth Lakes.

Staff presented the Mammoth Lakes Wildfire Task Force Year-In-Review to Town Council.

During a public hearing, Town Council adopted a resolution denying an appeal of the October 8, 2025 Planning and Economic Development Commission decision affirming the approval of Use Permit 24-003, Design Review 24-006, and Adjustment 25-005 for the 54 Mono Street Apartments.

Town Council waived the second reading and adopted by title only the ordinance amending Title 15 of the Municipal Code to reflect adoption of the 2025 CA Building Standards Code with certain local amendments, additions and deletions.

Town Council authorized the Town Manager to execute a contract to purchase partition walls and casework for the Town Hall and provided direction to staff regarding amendments to Town Council Strategic Priorities for 2026.
