Lead-Up to Primary Election: Meet the Candidates, May 21 & 28

With the primary election just around the corner (Tuesday, June 7), we have two events coming up for the final push to get the word out about candidates and encourage your fellow community members to vote!

Saturday, May 21

• Please join us in front of the Bishop City Park to meet doctor and veteran Kermit Jones, candidate for our Congressional District 3. Afterwards, we will all go out to canvass in our neighborhoods.
• 11am Rally: Bishop Community Park Bandstand

Saturday, May 28

• Meet and talk with California Democratic Party Chair Rusty Hicks and local candidates at two locations:
• 9am-12pm: Bishop City Park, Memorial Day Weekend Arts & Crafts Fair. We will be along the creek and across from the skate park.
