The contractor working on the SCE underground improvements will be working on Lake Mary Road, which requires the closure of the uphill lane of Lake Mary Road between Canyon Blvd. and Lakeview (Voodoo Chute). The downhill lane will remain open for vehicle access.
The parameters of the uphill lane closure are as follows:
- Tuesday (5/21) through Thursday (5/23)
- Hard closure from 7:00am through 5:00pm
- Detour along Canyon Boulevard and Lakeview Boulevard as shown on the attached map
- Two-way traffic between 4:30pm and 6:00am (4:00pm on Thursday) with two-way traffic overnight.
We appreciate the community’s patience as SCE and their contractors work on this critical infrastructure upgrade.
The Mammoth Lakes Police Department will be monitoring the area for the safety of both motorists and pedestrians.
