LADWP Encourages Everyone to Please Recreate Responsibly Around Water Ways!

Boaters and Anglers Cautioned of High Water Level Conditions in Crowley Lake for Upcoming Fish Opener

Water level conditions at Long Valley Reservoir (Crowley Lake) will be above average for this year’s April 27 fish opener.

The 2023 historic snowpack and subsequent extreme runoff brought a lot of water to the Eastern Sierra region resulting in full reservoirs, including Crowley Lake. LADWP Aqueduct personnel continue to manage last year’s runoff and plan to release water at the end of this month to accommodate for the expected additional spring runoff.

LADWP is working closely with the Crowley Lake Fish Camp to inform the public of waterway conditions as much as possible. We are asking the public to please stay informed and know before you go!
