Klondike Lake Open For Boating Memorial Day Weekend!

RECREATION UPDATES

Klondike Lake Opens for Boating on Friday, May 24
From May 24 to September 15, Klondike Lake will be open for limited public boating use on weekend days only: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to sunset.
Precautions are being taken to guard against invasive mussels at this site, so all motorized watercraft will be inspected before launching into Klondike Lake. Boat access to Klondike is free this summer period.
Access for motorized watercraft being transported by car, truck, and/or trailer will be allowed for one hour between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the gate entrance to accommodate inspections. After watercraft have been inspected and granted access, visitors can enjoy the lake for as long as they want that day. Please note, that recreational users with smaller, non-motorized watercraft not transported with a trailer can access the lake at any time.
