Justin James Honored as PLNU’s Coach of the Year

Justin James was awarded Coach of the Year by the athletes at Point Loma Nazarene University.
This is Justin’s fourth year as the head baseball coach at his Alma Mater. Before becoming the head baseball coach at PLNU, he was the pitching coach for UC San Diego for 4 years. In his last two years there, UC San Diego won the NCAA Division 2 title twice in a row.
His team’s overall record this year at PLNU is 39-7, with four regular season games left to play before the NCAA Regional and Division 2 playoffs.
On top of that, PLNU’s baseball field was recently named the most scenic ballpark by the MLB in a nationwide poll.
