Dear Inyo County Residents,

On behalf of the Inyo County Office of Education and our local school districts, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to each of you for your support in passing Measures R, S, T, and U. These facility bonds represent a tremendous investment in the future of our schools and, most importantly, our students.

Your commitment to these measures demonstrates your belief in the power of quality education and your dedication to ensuring that our students have the facilities they need to succeed. These funds will allow us to enhance and modernize classrooms, improve technology access, and create safer, more efficient school environments. By addressing these essential infrastructure needs, we are laying the groundwork for academic success and a brighter future for every student in our community.

The improvements funded by these bonds will not only enrich students’ learning experiences but also help attract and retain quality educators and staff who are integral to shaping our children’s futures. We are excited to begin these projects and to see the positive impact they will have for years to come. To ensure accountability, a Bond Oversight Committee will oversee all spending to guarantee funds are used as intended.

Thank you once again for your support and investment in our students and schools. Together, we are building a stronger foundation for education in Inyo County.

With gratitude,

Barry Simpson
Superintendent of Schools
Inyo County Office of Education
