The victims sister, Nova Hardwick, Took to social media with this statement:
“My brother was viciously beaten. While he was unconscious, his attacker knocked out several teeth, split my brothers mouth and face open, and left him to bleed out on the ground. He did not stop beating my brothers face in, bystanders took a video instead of breaking up what was obviously an unfair fight. The video is too vulgar for me to watch, but there is a video circulating. It disgusts me that people would rather take videos than save my brother from an attack that will affect him for the rest of his life. He was hospitalized on life support for a couple days and now is not able to work and was supposed to start at a new school this Thursday. It is going to take a very long time for him to come back from this horrible incident. He is only alive today because of the courageous boys that got his attacker off of him and called 911. We are hoping and praying that justice will be served. I am starting a Go fund me to raise awareness and help with medical bills and legal fees. Please share this, even if you cant donate, a share will help us get justice for the sick individual that did this to my brother. Thank you”
