“From Here to There” – A Call for Art

We are so excited to share this opportunity with our artist community!

Titled From Here to There, the exhibition will offer participating artists an exciting opportunity to have their work shown in multiple venues throughout the region, providing increased exposure to new audiences and communities while contributing to building a stronger, more connected cultural landscape for the Sierras and giving locals and visitors alike a glimpse into the hearts and minds of artists and creatives who call the Sierra region home.

In a unique collaboration between leading arts organizations across seven counties, artists who reside in Amador, Alpine, Calaveras, Inyo, Mariposa, Mono and Tuolumne Counties are invited to submit artworks for an interdisciplinary arts show facilitated by the Sierra Seven Art that will tour the region, showing at multiple locations between February and August, 2026.

Submissions will be accepted through an online form between October 10th and November 28th, 2025. Artwork will be adjudicated and curated by a regional panel.

The Sierra Seven Arts Alliance is a newly formed collaborative network serving the Central and Eastern Sierra region and consists of the following arts services organizations: Arts and Culture Alpine County, Amador County Arts Council, C5 Studios Community Arts Center, Inyo Council for the Arts, Mariposa County Arts Council, Mono Arts Council, and Tuolumne County Arts Alliance.  The inaugural collaborative project undertaken by the network will connect the seven counties of the Sierra region in a unique touring art exhibition that will travel to locations in each of the participating counties.
