Tickets and Camping for the

31st Annual Millpond Music Festival

go on sale April 1st!

Dear Millpond Friends,

We are excited to announce the 31st Annual Millpond Music Festival! The official festival dates are September 15-17, 2023.

We’re planning another great weekend of music, art, and fun in the Eastern Sierra. Our staff is busy putting together a stellar line-up, and we’ll be announcing more artists as they are confirmed.

Stay tuned here on our email list and our website, Facebook, and Instagram

First Acts Confirmed

We are thrilled to announce the first confirmed acts for the 31st Annual Millpond Music Festival!

THE BROTHER BROTHERS

unnamedbrotherbrothers

The Brother Brothers are the indie folk duo of Adam and David Moss. The identical twins were born and raised in Peoria, Illinois and originally based in Brooklyn, but have been ultimately and profoundly shaped by indiscriminate rambling. They are the kind of people who have a story about everything, and moreso, one you might genuinely like to hear. The Brother Brothers’ luminous touring career spans international headlining, support runs with the likes of I’m With Her, Big Thief, Lake Street Dive, and Shakey Graves, as well as key plays at NPR’s Mountain Stage, FreshGrass Festival, Folk Alliance, Woodford Folk, Nelsonville Music Festival, and Edmonton Folk among others.

THE FAUX PAWS

The Faux Paws have a problem. They’re a triangle band in a land of circles. Musically impossible to describe, they don’t even fit into todays often hyphenated-genre world. With the considerable success and praise the band has seen since coming out of the pandemic the Paws decided to add long-time friend and collaborator Zoe Guigueno (Fish & Bird, Della Mae) to their touring outfit on upright bass. Zoe only deepens the group’s already massive sound while freeing each member up for more creative expression on their various instruments. A Faux Paws live show is an explosive roller coaster ride that brings the audience along. Virtuosity on the fiddle, mandolin, guitar and saxophone, sure, but also vulnerability, personal lyrics, tight 3-part brother harmonies, playful interplay, intricately arranged details and soaring improvisations.
