Death Valley Natural History Association Updates Regarding Shutdown

Government Shutdown Update

The federal government shutdown affects not only our valued partners but also disrupts DVNHA operations. With our bookstores at Death Valley NP and Ash Meadows NWR closed, we face significant challenges in continuing to fulfill our mission.

As the duration of the shutdown remains uncertain, we sincerely ask for your generous support of the DVNHA Unrestricted Fund. This fund provides essential support where it is most needed. This encompasses everything from currently paused partnered projects that still require support to the warm welcomes our dedicated staff offer at the Visitor Centers.

Act now to preserve the DVNHA spirit, along with the partnerships and meaningful connections that define us, as we navigate these challenging times together.
