Honoring Student Success and Community Spirit in Bishop on May 9, 2025

Cerro Coso Community College is proud to announce the 21st Annual Commencement Ceremony at its Eastern Sierra College Center (ESCC), a heartfelt celebration of the achievements and resilience of the Class of 2025.

This special event is open to students, faculty, staff, family, friends, and the entire community as we gather to recognize the hard work, dedication, and bright futures of this year’s ESCC graduates.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate this important milestone with our Eastern Sierra students and their loved ones,” said Dr. Sean Hancock, President of Cerro Coso Community College. “These graduates have shown exceptional commitment and courage, and this ceremony honors their journeys and accomplishments.”

The ceremony will feature inspiring messages, student spotlights, and the conferral of associate degrees, certificates, and honors. The event reflects the college’s commitment to educational excellence and the close-knit spirit of the Eastern Sierra community.

“Graduates, take this moment to celebrate with the family and friends who have cheered you on every step of the way—you’ve worked hard and you’ve earned it,” shares Kim Blackwell, ESCC Director. “We are incredibly proud of you and send our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for all that lies ahead!”
