Caltrans Reopens North June Lake Loop from Winter Closure

MONO COUNTY — Caltrans reopened State Route 158 N (North June Lake Loop) to the traveling public today at noon following its winter closure. It originally closed for the season on February 1. As wildlife may have utilized the highway during its winter closure, drivers should stay alert for any animals near or on North June Lake Loop and roadways throughout the district.

Inclement weather may still be in the forecast and Caltrans will close the highway again should conditions warrant it.
