California Indian Legal Services Announces Opening of Remote Workstations for Inyo County Residents Experiencing Housing Issues
California Indian Legal Services (CILS) is pleased to announce the opening of remote
workstations for Inyo County residents experiencing housing issues. Income-eligible County residents can use these remote workstations to speak with a housing attorney at California Indian Legal Services, home of The Eastern Sierra Legal Assistance Program. The remote workstations are located in the same building as the Public Library in Tecopa and in the Social Services office in Lone Pine. Help is also available in person, at the California Indian Legal Services office at 873 N Main St, Suite 120 in Bishop.
The housing services provided by CILS include help with eviction defense, habitability
concerns/substandard housing, requests for reasonable accommodation for disabilities, and housing discrimination. These services are available to ALL income-eligible Inyo County residents, not just Native-Americans. These services are provided at NO COST.
For more information contact CILS at 760-873-3581 or visit https://www.calindian.org/rest/.
